Ripping Yarns is a series of short films telling tales from the Kirklees textiles industry by Alistair Macdonald. Commissioned as part of Woven 2019 and produced by Creative Scene, they feature pioneering practices such as recycling clothes to generate electricity, using digital technology to push the boundaries of textile design and recycling denim to soundproof cars.
