We had a LOT of fun in the sun at Dewsbury Heritage Open day. A full film programme was shown in the West Riding’s beer garden, with archive footage of Dewsbury town railways and ‘Arrivals’, a new film starring local residents sharing the journeys that made Dewsbury their home, and a pop-up photo booth to picture yourself back in time! In addition, throughout the town the mischievous Carpeters were out and about- rolling out the red carpet for the special people of our town!
