While others jet off to hotter climates this July, we are in Mirfield for the town’s annual arts frenzy, this year celebrating anything that flies.
These are no ordinary birds and this is no ordinary bird show, these are The Person Birds…
Half person, half bird and renowned for their mischievous nature, curious hobbies, silly walks and their ability to run a mock of ‘The Professor” their scientific trainer.
A hilarious new street theatre show inspired by the traditions of bird display shows fused with the madness of live science experiments.
In 1988 Pete became the Fastest One Man Band In the World creating a never beaten record of running 100 metres in 19.75 seconds, playing 139 instruments, wearing five colours and playing four recognisable tunes.
Extraordinary is how we describe him.
