Sketching with steve mcgrath

If you’re itching to dust off your sketchbook or haven’t picked up a pencil since school, Steve McGrath’s Sketching brings together people of all abilities for a fun and creative workshop. Steve will help you with the basics of different mediums, such as pencil, charcoal and pastel, in these fun and friendly classes.

This event is free. Please note that to attend an event at Brigantia you will need to be a member. Membership costs £3 a year and offers access to loads of workshops, events and bookable space. about brigantia bootcamp

Here at Brigantia, we’re big fans of trying something new. Brigantia Bootcamp is our programme of workshops and events that brings together anyone who wants to have a go at something creative – be they artists, local residents or students – in a friendly and inclusive environment.

Brigantia is located on the 5th floor of Empire House on Wakefield Old Road in Dewsbury Town Centre. Empire House is the building above the Post Office, just next to the town hall. Someone will be located at the entrance of the building to send you in the right direction on the day.
