BANK Artist Network: A Discussion with Stephen Turner

BANK is a movement of artists interested in people, places and the issues facing towns and neighbourhoods today, a creative community coming together to share, challenge, learn and grow.

To kick off our monthly programme of talks and digital events, we’re thrilled to host a discussion with acclaimed artist Stephen Turner. Stephen was brought up in Dewsbury and has recently returned to his old haunts to set up his studio in Crow Nest Park.

We’ll be discussing Stephen’s artistic practice, the benefits of working at a slower pace, asking what makes his practice socially engaged, what he wants to see from the area and how we can get involved.
