Join local artists Natasha Jackson and Sara Sherwood for two free workshops for the whole family to create and decorate your own set of ceramic tiles to celebrate your favourite memories and moments.
The workshops will take place on Sunday (11.30am – 3.30pm) at St Mary’s Church on the Shirley Estate, Gomersal.

All participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

These workshops are designed to be family-friendly, so all members of your family can take part: parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, godparents, found-family, cousins, friends, nieces, nephews – anyone who you consider your family.
Natasha Jackson is a ceramics artist from Gomersal, West Yorkshire.
Natasha runs her own business, Natasha Jackson Ceramics, and has been practicing ceramics for nearly a decade.
Natasha has a BA and MA from the heart of ceramics, Staffordshire University – and loves creating workshops which are therapeutic and lets creativity flow free.
Sara Sherwood is a writer from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
Sara’s short stories have been featured in Dear Damsels’ anthology Let Me Know When You’re Home: Stories of Female Friendship, Test Signal, an anthology of best new northern writing published by Dead Ink and Bloomsbury and Best British Short Stories 2022. Her short story Likes was also Highly Commended in the Bridport Prize in 2018.
Sara has an MA in Creative Writing from the Manchester Writing School and runs creative writing workshops and courses across Leeds and Kirklees for people of all backgrounds, abilities and ambitions.
