personal brand with pauline leitch

Devising your personal brand can be difficult and making your business or practice stand out in a crowded field can sometimes feel impossible. In these four creative sessions, Pauline Leitch will get you away from your desk, unleash your creativity and imagination, and help you communicate your story in a compelling and inventive way.

This event is free. Please note that to attend an event at Brigantia you will need to be a member. Membership costs £3 a year and offers access to loads of workshops, events and bookable space. If you’d like to know more about Brigantia and becoming a member click here. If you are not yet a member and you would like to join, go to https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/creativescene.

Dates

There are 4 sessions in this course. Please try and make it to all four to make the most of the workshops – if you would like to join the course at a later date then please email simon@creativescene.org.uk

Thursday 19th September, 6-8pm

This session will cover telling your story. How have you ended up here? What roads have you travelled and which bits were important in understanding how to define your individual purpose?

Thursday 3rd October, 6-8pm

This session will be an introduction to marketing. Pauline will give you simple tools to help break down and understand the market you are competing in.

Thursday 17th October, 6-8pm

This session will cover brand identity. Pauline will ask participants what makes you unique and to think about the market you operate in; how does this influence your brand identity?

Thursday 7th November, 6-8pm

In this final session, you will pitch your brand and reveal your finished personal map.

about freelance Thursdays

We know how tough it can be being a freelancer or small business owner. Our Freelance Thursdays aren’t only to meet other people in the area who work alone but to learn the essentials: how to do your tax return and register as self-employed, how to build your personal brand and how to master the basics of social media. We can promise you a break away from your shared office, back room or studio with the chance to meet other artists, freelancers, digital start-ups and community organisers in the area – we’ll put the kettle on and get the biscuits out.

accessibility

Brigantia is not currently wheelchair accessible after 5pm. There is an accessible toilet and on-street parking outside the building. If you’d like to know anything further about accessibility contact us on 01924 437 966.
