Composticity

Composticity’ a puppet show, is a fun and inspiring piece of outdoor theatre using the imagination to explore environmental themes and how human action has had a negative effect on our world.  

It features beautiful art, handmade puppets and a full puppet booth set as well as featuring original music and a story especially devised for street theatre and outdoor events.  

Inside the compost are all the creatures that live there and something else, when the compost heap gets sick, someone has to go inside to find out what the problem is.  

The show uses litter and plastic pollution as a metaphor for wider environmental crisis and offers a solution for how we can care for our world. The performance uses both comedy and emotion to tackle a serious theme.  

Self contained, working both indoors and out, this is a one person show that uses direct audience interaction and visual theatre to tell the story. 

Composticity will be performed at 12:30 – 13:00, 13:30 – 14:00 and 14:30 – 15:00. You don’t need to book a ticket in advance, just drop in on the day!
