Batley Pride in the Park

Put on your Brave face’ a display of unique masks created with young people at the Brunswick Centre Youth Group with artist /designer Joshua Cartmell. Each mask expresses their queer identity and individuality. Expect a riot of bold colour, texture and patterns as they present their ‘brave face’ to the world.

AND back by popular demand we’ll also be teaming up with pavement artists Urban Canvas for an interactive chalking art workshop. Join us for some community chalk doodling which then becomes a selfie-zone where you can become part of the art itself. The butterfly encompasses transformation and personal growth, representing the journey of self discovery and the ability to change and evolve.
