Batley’s Bagshaw Museum is opening its doors to the public this Saturday 18 April to offer an exciting evening of entertainment featuring performance, comedy and music, as well as the launch of a new mystery trail and access to objects not normally on view to the general public.
The event will be hosted by the fabulous ‘Miss Inform’ who has been in residency at Bagshaw over the last few months as a variety of different characters, engaging and making visitors laugh with her unique and fantastical tales about the objects in the museum.
Variety Night is free, it’s open to everybody and it doesn’t matter at all if you’ve never been to the Bagshaw Museum before. You’ll be able to see objects not normally on display, you’ll be able to take on the challenge of Miss Inform’s new mystery trail and there will even be a live DJ and circus entertainment too.
From 5-7pm the emphasis will be on family friendly entertainment and from 7.30-9.30pm the party will be geared towards a more grown up audience. Whatever time you choose to come we hope you’ll go home with a very different view of what a museum can offer and that you’ll come back and visit the Bagshaw Museum again!
